MealPe is a pioneering startup dedicated to revolutionizing food ordering and cafeteria management in closed campuses such as universities, corporate offices, co-working spaces, IT parks, food courts, and more. Founded in March 2023, MealPe was born out of the need to address the inefficiencies and chaos experienced during peak meal times, both for consumers and food vendors.
MealPe operates on a B2B SaaS model, providing a comprehensive online food ordering and cafeteria management product stack to universities, corporate offices, IT parks, and other closed campuses. Our solution includes a white-labeled consumer app option for a seamless user experience. Tell us a bit about how founding team knows each other.
I met Satya Mehta while I was in university, where he mentored me through my first venture. Subsequently, he invited me to join him as a co-founder to tackle a new problem statement they had identified. Satya and Deval were classmates during their MBA in 2012, and later they co-founded RoomPe in 2020.
Why did you decide to start this company?
I related a lot to the problem statement being a recent graduate and having faced this issue at campus. This looks like a massive opportunity since the problem persists in all closed campus locations.
Are all the founders full-time on this project?
Yes
