Havai platform comprises of Havai 30, Launcher, Capture and Drop Pod. Havai 30 is a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. It is designed for mid-mile and mid–last-mile logistics, carrying up to 30 kg over a range of 200 km.
Designed for high-frequency, infrastructure-light operations, Havai addresses critical logistics gaps in e-commerce, healthcare, defence, and remote access delivery—at up to 8× lower cost than VTOL alternatives.
Startup Description
Havai is building an autonomous aerial logistics platform designed to revolutionize mid-mile and mid-to-last-mile cargo delivery in India. Our flagship product, Havai 30, is a fixed-wing, electric aircraft capable of carrying 30 kg payloads over 200 km at 120 kmph, with a swappable battery system enabling multiple daily missions. Unlike conventional drones, Havai leverages Assisted Take-Off and Landing (ATOL) technology—our patent-pending innovation—to operate from ultra-short runways or rooftops using a launcher and capture mechanism.
Havai addresses the inefficiencies and high costs of ground-based logistics in reaching remote, hilly, or island regions. Our aircraft enables faster, cost-effective, and scalable delivery networks, particularly suited for e-commerce, e-pharma, and defense sectors. With integrated Drop Pods designed for dense housing societies and offices, we reduce the need for multiple hubs and shorten last-mile delivery loops.
Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni with deep aerospace, robotics, and software experience, Havai is currently in the advanced prototyping stage, having demonstrated critical components like scaled down aircraft and launcher mechanisms. We follow a lean, IP-driven development approach and operate on an equipment-financing + service model, aiming to offer logistics players a high-reliability, low-cost aerial delivery infrastructure.

Why did you decide to start this
company?
The economies of scale have been reached in case of fully electric aerial logistics platform, because of advent of 3D printer and low costs of available components like motors etc. We are great combo.
